Post Holiday Blues

One Extra Day

When you apply for your holiday leave, make sure to apply for one extra day after you touch down. This is one important day to unpack your bags, remove traces of the holiday, and also for you to adjust your feelings. Ever heard your friends saying "I don't want to go back to work after such a good holiday?"? Not having to work immediately after your vacation helps tremendously.

Plan Your Comeback

Come up with a list of things that have to be done upon you return, and arrange them in order of importance. Making a list will help you be organised and not miss out important items hence relieving some of your stress as well.

Get Outdoors, Get the Adrenaline Pumping

Do overtime if you must but not stay back till the wee hours or miss your lunch just to catch up with work. Seeing the sunshine during the lunch breaks helps you catch a breath, and doing a workout after your first day of work would help get that adrenaline pumping.
