Never understood the Mona Lisa? Or Jesus in the Last Supper? Watch art come alive in this South Korean exhibition and have the masterpiece explain it all to you. You could even interact with the artwork in question.

For the first time in Southeast Asia, a total of 49 interactive exhibits in five sections spanning from ancient arts to the Renaissance, and to modern arts are showcased as a unique multimedia experience at D'Tent, Downtown East until 3 Oct 2010.

A joint collaboration by Quebec Leisure International, a subsidiary of NTUC Club, and MediaCorp Vizpro International, the Alive Gallery seeks to bring greater accessibility to arts by the means of multimedia including cinematic style computer animation, 3-Dimenional technology, holographic effects and other interactive tools. The entire ensemble cost a whooping USD4 million and two whole years to develop.

teehee so cute! You know, it's strangely just like the talking portraits in Harry Potter! Maybe someone got the idea from there?

This is pretty similar to Singapore Universal Studio's Donkey Live show, at Far Far Away's Romeo Drive. The Donkey from Shrek can interact live with the audience from his theatre size screen. They probably used the same technology! :)
