Shipsomnia: The Tomorrowland of The Seas is Setting Sail in Singapore in 2016

From January 2nd - 6th in 2016, one of the biggest and baddest party cruise is setting sail in Singapore for a 5-days, 4-nights cruise from Singapore to Phuket and back. Get your party rock on as you dance the days and nights away on sea with 30 world class DJs and an immersive aquatic theme with a steam punk twist.
Aptly named Shipsomnia, get prepped for little to no sleep as the party cruise takes you for a ride of a lifetime with prominent DJs in the global house and techno scene spinning around the clock in four different zones. As if that isn't awesome enough, halfway through the trip is a day-long, private beach party on the renowned Phuket beach and then a Langkawi stopover to top off the bombastic experience.
Tickets start around US$700, but with such a spectacular itinery and out-of-this-world experience, the pricetags seem justifiable. Tickets go on sale here from May 23 onwards at early bird prices, so be sure to grab them as soon as booking goes live, as only 819 cabins are made available to the public.
The event will have a "high seas mythical adventure" theme - think a magical aquatic theme with a steampunk twist, says the organiser.
The cruise festival is put together at a cost of US$2.5 million by Singapore based lifestyle and entertainment group Mad Fresh Events, headed by an international team.
Says Mad Fresh chief executive and Shipsomnia's co-founder Alessandra Maderni: "Many festival cruises follow the same format and it's easy to fall into the trap of yet another pirates or sailor theme. We want to take it to a whole new level to the likes of Tomorrowland of the sea in terms of Shipsomnia's storyline."
Tomorrowland is the world's largest annual electronic dance music festival held in Belgium and is known for its top-notch quality production and staging with elaborate props.
The Costa Victoria that will host Shipsomnia will be transformed into a floating music festival with four different concert zones. On top of all the concerts, partying and booze, you will be able to luxuriate in everything this artistic cruise ship has to offer. Like a floating city on water, this ship is equipped with 3 swimming pools (1 indoor), 4 jacuzzis, 7 restaurants, 12 bars (and more will be added for Shipsomnia), fitness center, health spa and massage, basketball court, shopping center with duty free shops, monte carlo casino, arcade, medical center and free wi-fi throughout the ship.
Countless activities have also been meticulously planned to satisfy everyone's desire to make the most out of this high sea mystical adventure; from learning how to spin from some of the best DJs in the world to a huge treasure hunt where your team might be able to take home the grand prize, from mermaid/aquaman speed-dating to challenging the DJs in a classic game of beer pong, and from trying your hand at a poker tournament to checking out the specialty shows and entertainment in the Theater.
The organiser of Shipsomnia is expecting a turnout of about 2,400. In the run-up to the event, Mad Fresh will be collaborating with some of the best clubs in Hong Kong, Bali, Jakarta, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Singapore for a series of Shipsomnia parties. In Singapore, the Shipsomnia club party will be held at Kyo in Cecil Street.
