I don't know why Singapore has not really caught on to the food truck culture since we are pretty obsessed with food, but I am pretty sure you have seen the mobile restaurants on an overseas trip, a TV show or a movie and drooled over the delicious culinary offerings they serve up. There is something about purchasing a hot meal from a truck and immediately devouring it right outside that makes it seem so appealing. If you have always wanted to relish that experience, your taste-buds and stomach will be excited to know that FIJI Water is bringing one of America's most loved food trucks to Singapore!
This is no ordinary food truck that's coming to our sunny island. The Lime Truck from Los Angeles was the winner of The Food Network’s "The Great Food Truck Race" in season 2. They will be cooking up their signature dishes in a two-day pop-up at Orchard Gateway on 15 and 16 August. Full proceeds from the 2-day event will be donated to Willing Hearts, a volunteer-run non-profit organization set up to provide for the needy in Singapore.
Blue Crab and Jicama Taco

Meet the handsome Chef Daniel Shemtob, CEO and founder of The Lime Truck. At only 25 years old, he is already the owner of two successful restaurants and one of America's rising culinary authorities.
The Lime Truck promises "fresh, healthy, accessible food". Since it was set up in 2010, it has already garnered a huge cult following for its fusion of contemporary appeal to soulful cooking, emphasizing on fresh ingredients and dynamic flavours with creative dishes. They have two brick and mortar restaurants named TLT Food, and Chef Daniel Shemtob was named one of "LA's 30 under 30" by Zagat.
