OCBC Cycle Singapore 2011

Hit the road with OCBC Cycle Singapore 2011, our little city's biggest mass participation cycling event on fully closed public roads! Next year, the event will also feature an exciting professional night race around the F1 Pit Building.

Cycling is a sport that is growing increasingly popular among families and friends in Singapore. Last year over 9,000 riders took part in the two-day OCBC Cycle Singapore event which has scenic categories for every level of rider, leisure or professional. Categories include the Tricycle Ride, Mighty Savers Kids Ride, The Community Ride, The Nissan Challenge, The Super Challenge, and Criterium events.

A meaningful event as well, the event has selected charity partners, The National Cancer Centre Singapore and The Singapore Children's Society, and will include the Cycle of Hope, a 4km ride around the Central Business District for cancer survivors and supporters.

Each participant will receive a Cycle Pack which consists of the event t-shirt or cycling jersey, a cycle information booklet, a bib and a timing chip for the competitive ones. Bikes, however, will not be rented out by the event organisers. Participants could purchase a bike from sponsor bicycle manufacturer Polygon at discounted prices or rent one from the list of recommended bike hire shops on the event website. Free overnight bike storage will be provided.

The Early Bird promotion for all categories ends 10 November 2010, so be sure to sign up soon!
