Study Shows That Drinking a Beer or Two After Work is Good for Your Health

According to a study done by the American Society of Human Genetics, drinking one to two alcoholic beverages a day could actually keep the doctor away!
The study explored the association with smoking and heavy alcohol use with epigenetic signs of aging. They found that all levels of exposure to smoke were associated with significantly premature aging. Interestingly, moderate alcohol use – about one to two drinks per day – was correlated with the healthiest aging, while very low and high consumption were linked to accelerated aging.
So apparently, if you completely refrain from drinking, you will age faster, but if you drink too much, you will also accelerate aging. I guess we have to make two pints of beer a staple in our daily diet if we want to prolong our youthful appearances. Let's cheers to that!
